Please note that during cold weather seasons the pressure in the butane container may drop and therefore the
lighter may seem to not work properly! Please make sure that lighters are at room temperature and also have a can
of
BUTANE at hand to “top-off” with fuel.

It seems like the lighter is hard to light?
1.        the ConsumerProductSafetyCommission require the slider/igniter to have a resistance of 8-Lbs to make sure
that this type of product is safe around children!
2.        Make sure you are not squeezing and pushing down on the slider, if you use an upward motion it works much
easier and it will get a little smoother over time.
3.        Make sure your index finger are underneath and in-front of the slider, this seems to be the easiest way of
avoiding “squeezing” and pushing down, instead of up, on the slider.

How long do I refill the lighter?
First, Never try to fill with lighter-fluid - ONLY USE butane gas for lighters
Make sure you hold the butane
upside-down, or you will fill the lighter with air and air does not burn! –
Push DOWN 2-3 times in short spurts and the lighter is now filled!

Bleeding the lighter -
If Lighter is not working maybe air got into the system and you need to "bleed" the chamber - click here

Why doesn’t it light every time?
Please note that the butane must travel from the butane tank to the nozzle and if you rapidly light the lighter there
may not be enough butane to ignite, just push the igniter upward slowly and the butane will get there before the
pizzo is engaged and ignites the gas.

Why is the flame so low?
Some butane brands seem to have lower pressure and therefore cause the lighter to have a small flame, even
at the highest setting!
If you experience this there is a way to "override" the maximum flame height "stop" that we have manufactured
into the black wheel-adjuster - by making this alteration you have modified the product and must be extra care-
full to turn the flame-height-adjuster to minimum before re-filling the lighter and lighting it, as the pressure inside
butane cans can vary. If you feel responsible enough to make this alteration please click
here.

We have sold thousands and thousands of lighters with a return rate of less than 0.08% - if you experience a
problem we will be happy to replace the lighter immediately by calling toll-free 1.877.869.7172.
